The Buna Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Anahuac Panthers to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brookeland for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Buna will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-55 non-league win over Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.

The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hargrave (Huffman, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Hargrave routed Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX), 50-48, in a non-league outing.
