The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the visiting Ascent Classical Academy Guardians (Lone Tree, CO), observed STEM School Highlands Ranch's basketball team overcome Ascent Classical Academy by a score of 47-34.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Loveland Classical (Loveland, CO). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Loveland Classical dropped by Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO), 57-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Guardians battle the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles (Peyton, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Ascent Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 73-35 non-league win over Manzanola (Manzanola, CO).
