In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hot Springs Tigers basketball team scored a good 55-37 triumph over the Chaparral Lobos.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Silver (Silver City, NM). The Fighting Colts enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Silver was dropped by Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM), 58-46, in a non-league outing.
The Lobos (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Dexter was toppled by Cobre (Bayard, NM), 65-37, in a non-league game.
