Illinois High School Basketball - Crete-Monee held off by Thornwood

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) and the host Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), observed Thornwood's basketball team edge Crete-Monee by a score of 58-55.

The Thunderbirds (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan come into the Southland challenge with a 3-2 record.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Crete-Monee will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 65-44 non-league loss to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
