North Carolina High School Basketball - East Rutherford overwhelms Polk County

The East Rutherford Cavaliers basketball squad scored 80 points and held the visiting Polk County Wolverines to 44 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Cavaliers clash with the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 9. East Rutherford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Titans enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 93-87 non-league loss to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC).

The Wolverines (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, East Henderson was overwhelmed by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 48-40, in a non-league game.
