Colorado High School Basketball - Greeley Central holds off Pomona

December 5, 2025: Arvada, CO 80005

The Greeley Central Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Pomona Panthers to 60 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Littleton for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 6. Greeley Central will clash with a Lions team coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to Montbello (Denver, CO). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Pomona falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Thornton (Thornton, CO) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 0-1. Thornton lost 65-34 in their recent non-league game against Northglenn (Northglenn, CO)
