    • Georgia High School Basketball - Holy Spirit Prep succumbs to Westminster Christian Academy

    In Friday's non-league bout, the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) basketball team toppled the visiting Holy Spirit Prep Cougars (Atlanta, GA), by a tally of 61-44.

    The Lions now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Killian Hill Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Westminster Christian Academy will play a Cougars team coming off a 88-56 league loss to Sugar Hill Christian Academy (Sugar Hill, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.

    With the loss, Holy Spirit Prep moves to 2-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Heritage (Newnan, GA) to clash with the Hawks in a GIAA AA Region 1 test on Tuesday, December 9. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 6-2. Heritage lost 57-55 in their recent non-league test against St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA)
