Alabama High School Basketball - Macon-East Montgomery Academy sneaks past Hooper Academy

December 5, 2025: Cecil, AL 36013

The Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) basketball edged the visiting Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL), 52-48 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Knights clash with the Coosa Valley Academy Rebels (Harpersville, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 8. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 65-42 non-league loss to Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL).

The Colts (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Lowndes Academy (Lowndesboro, AL). The Rebels come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Lowndes Academy was nipped by Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL), 61-29, in a non-league test.
