In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Mumford Mustangs basketball team scored a good 49-36 win over the Rogers Eagles.
The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Caldwell lost by Brenham (Brenham, TX), 102-25, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Aransas for a non-league match on Thursday, December 11.
