The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Jugglers (Utica, NY) and the host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils (Verona, NY), observed Notre Dame's basketball team knock off Vernon-Verona-Sherrill by a score of 50-40.

The Jugglers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Town of Webb (Old Forge, NY). The Timberwolves enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Town of Webb thwarted Remsen (Remsen, NY), 59-37, in a league battle.
