In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Riverside Pirates basketball team scored a close 72-68 triumph over the Westside Christian Eagles.
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Neah-Kah-Nie nipped Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR), 58-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Trinity Lutheran Saints (Bend, OR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Westside Christian will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 67-25 non-league win over Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR).
