    In Friday's league test, the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA), by a score of 62-51.

    Next, the Golden Lions clash with the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 6. St. Pius X Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 73-49 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA).

    The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons come into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Wenonah beat Midfield (Midfield, AL), 60-59, in a non-league test.
