The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX) and the visiting Garrison Bulldogs (Garrison, TX), observed Alto's basketball team run past Garrison by a count of 50-42.

With the victory, Alto advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 2-7. Cumberland Academy lost 48-28 in their recent non-league battle against West Rusk (New London, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Garrison will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record.
