Texas High School Basketball - Connally nips Alvarado

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Connally Cadets basketball team scored a close 37-35 win over the Alvarado Indians.

The Cadets (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Orangefield tipped West (West, TX), 49-26, in a non-league match.

The Indians now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. Alvarado will battle a Trojans team coming off a 37-21 non-league win over Crawford (Crawford, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 9-2.
