Kansas High School Basketball - Andover nips Derby

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Andover Trojans basketball team scored a close 53-48 victory over the Derby Panthers.

With the victory, Andover advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Piper (Kansas City, KS) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-0. Piper won 64-41 in their recent league match against Seaman (Topeka, KS)

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McPherson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 9. Derby will battle a Bullpups team coming off a 0-0 non-league Liberal (Liberal, KS). The Bullpups record now stands at 1-1.
