Texas High School Basketball - Bridge City overwhelms Hamshire-Fannett

The Bridge City Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns to 21 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Neches-Groves for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. Bridge City will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 38-34 non-league loss to Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Indians record now stands at 2-6.

The Longhorns (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Bears enter the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Alief Hastings was overwhelmed by Clear Brook (Friendswood, TX), 37-32, in a non-league outing.
