Georgia High School Basketball - Mitchell County crushes Calhoun County

The Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA), 58-32 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Terrell County for a A D2 Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, December 9. Mitchell County will encounter a Greenwave team coming off a 45-40 non-league loss to Westover (Albany, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 3-2.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Calhoun County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 74-16 league win over Quitman County (Georgetown, GA).
