The Creede Miners basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Centennial Rams to 41 in the Miners non-league triumph on Friday.
The Miners now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sangre de Cristo for a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. Creede will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 28-15 non-league win over La Veta (La Veta, CO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-1.
The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against La Veta (La Veta, CO). The Redhawks enter the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, La Veta was nipped by Sangre de Cristo (Mosca, CO), 28-15, in a non-league outing.
