In Friday's non-league test, the Overton Bobcats (Nashville, TN) basketball squad trounced the host Glencliff Colts (Nashville, TN), by a tally of 67-9.
The Bobcats now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Lawson for a 4A District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 9. Overton will play a Lightning team coming off a 52-24 non-league loss to Beech (Hendersonville, TN). The Lightning record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Glencliff falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Colts host Springfield (Springfield, TN) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 9. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Springfield won 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarksville (Clarksville, TN)
