Texas High School Basketball - Mabank routs Taft

In Friday's non-league match, the host Mabank Panthers basketball squad scored a decisive 79-38 victory over the Taft Greyhounds.

With the victory, Mabank advances its record to 9-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to La Vernia (La Vernia, TX) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Bears enter the match with a record of 12-3. La Vernia lost 50-25 in their recent non-league match against Memorial (Houston, TX)

The Greyhounds now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Vidor for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. Taft will battle a Pirates team coming off a 63-39 non-league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-6.
