The Wooddale Cardinals basketball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova Eagles to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melrose for a 2A District 16 outing on Tuesday, December 9.

With the loss, Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cordova (Cordova, TN) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Friday, December 12. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 4-2.
