The Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Puyallup Vikings (Puyallup, WA), 71-26 in Friday's league challenge.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Wolves come into the 4A South Puget Sound - North challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, South Kitsap was routed by Curtis (University Place, WA), 56-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound - North challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Puyallup will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 72-39 league loss to Rogers (Puyallup, WA).
