LaFayette Bulldogs (LaFayette, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL), 70-32 in a league bout.

With the win, LaFayette upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Randolph County (Wedowee, AL) to play the Tigers in a 2A Area 7 bout on Thursday, December 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Randolph County lost 60-47 in their recent league bout against Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL)

Next up, the Generals play the Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL) in a 2A Area 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 53-27 non-league loss to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL).
