The Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Collins Family Jaguars to 34 in the Guerreros Jaguares league triumph on Tuesday.

The Guerreros Jaguares now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East College Prep for a Eastside contest on Thursday, December 8. Academia Avance will meet a Spartans team coming off a 38-35 league win over Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.

The Jaguars (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against University Prep Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Wolves enter the Eastside contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, University Prep Value was nudged by Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
