Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA), 74-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Albia upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blue Demons travel to Clarke (Osceola, IA) to play the Indians in a South Central bout on Friday, December 9. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Clarke lost 74-57 in their recent league bout against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Chariton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
