The Sioux Central Rebels basketball team scored 91 points and held the visiting Alta-Aurelia Warriors to 58 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Webster for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Sioux Central will battle a Cougars team coming off a 67-55 non-league loss to South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Woodbury Central was routed by Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA), 71-55, in a league contest.
