Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR), 63-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Rebels host Rector (Rector, AR) to clash with the Cougars in a 2A Region 3 bout on Friday, December 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Rector won 69-31 in their recent non-league bout against Maynard (Maynard, AR)

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 68-46 non-league loss to Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR).
