The Mayville Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers to 28 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host All Saints Central for a North Central Thumb contest on Friday, December 9. Mayville will battle a Cougars team coming off a 85-62 non-league loss to Kingston (Kingston, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Huron (Kinde, MI). The Warriors come into the North Central Thumb contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, North Huron was routed by Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI), 59-48, in a non-league contest.
