The Universal Stars (Bridgeview, IL) basketball knocked off the host College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL), 54-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Stars (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Yorkville Christian went down by Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL), 85-77, in a non-league test.
The Thunder now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hinsdale Adventist Academy for a Metro Prep test on Thursday, December 8. College Prep of America will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 37-34 non-league win over Morton Grove Academy (Morton Grove, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-4.
