In Tuesday's league outing, the Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), by a margin of 65-35.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Riverside, IA). The Huskies go into the SEI - North outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Highland was trounced by Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA), 65-37, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Denver for a non-league outing on Friday, December 9. Columbus will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 55-51 league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-3.
