The Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) basketball nipped the host Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 55-49 in Tuesday's league test.

The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers go into the Peninsula test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Hampton was tipped by Menchville (Newport News, VA), 66-56, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel for a Peninsula test on Friday, December 9. Denbigh will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 51-48 league loss to Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-2.
