The Mormon Trail Saints basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Diagonal Maroons to 27 in the Saints league victory on Tuesday.

The Saints now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Cedars for a Bluegrass contest on Friday, December 9. Mormon Trail will battle a Sabers team coming off a 69-44 league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Sabers record now stands at 3-1.

The Maroons (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks come into the Bluegrass contest with a 2-0 record.
