Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dongola Demons (Dongola, IL), 81-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Century (Ullin, IL) to play the Centurions in a South Egyptian bout on Friday, December 9. The Centurions go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Century won 59-54 in their recent league bout against Egyptian (Tamms, IL)

Next up, the Demons play the Cobden Appleknockers (Cobden, IL) in a South Egyptian bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Dongola will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
