Wilcox Central Jaguars (Camden, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hatch Bobcats (Uniontown, AL), 62-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wilcox Central upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Jaguars host Marion (Marion, AL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Marion won 64-35 in their recent non-league bout against Dallas County (Plantersville, AL)

Next up, the Bobcats play the University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) in a 1A Area 6 bout, on Friday, December 9. Hatch will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 66-30 non-league loss to Hale County (Moundville, AL).
