In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) in a Heart O'North contest, on Friday, December 9. Hayward will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Oredockers come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 78-39 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, WI).

The Rails (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Lumberjacks come into the Heart O'North contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Ladysmith dropped by Northwestern (Maple, WI), 82-73, in a league contest.
