The McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) basketball felled the visiting Hillcrest Hornets (Springfield, MO), 64-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Neosho thwarted Providence Academy (Rogers, AR), 66-45, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Willard for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Hillcrest will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 63-51 non-league loss to Central (Springfield, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
