With the victory, Wicksburg upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Kinston (Kinston, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Kinston lost 69-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Geneva County (Hartford, AL)

Next up, the Lions play the Northside Methodist Academy Knights (Dothan, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Houston County will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 58-44 non-league win over Wicksburg (Newton, AL).
