In Tuesday's league outing, the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), by a count of 71-38.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats go into the SouthWest Prairie outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Plainfield Central was crushed by Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL), 72-56, in a league outing.

The Steelmen now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie outing on Saturday, December 10. Joliet Central will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 61-51 league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
