The Leesville Wampus Cats basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Rosepine Eagles to 54 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wampus Cats now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckeye for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Leesville will meet a Panthers team coming off a 46-32 non-league win over Montgomery (Montgomery, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hicks (Leesville, LA). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.
