With the win, Puckett upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Wolves host West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Tigers play the Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. McLaurin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS).
