In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Wartburg Central Bulldogs (Wartburg, TN) basketball squad beat the visiting Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN), by a count of 78-68.

The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN). The Bobcats go into the 1A District 3 outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Oliver Springs defeated Harriman (Harriman, TN), 47-38, in a non-league outing.

The Green Wave now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oakdale for a 1A District 4 outing on Friday, December 9. Midway will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 66-38 non-league loss to Oneida (Oneida, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
