New York High School Basketball - Penn Yan Academy ripped by Newark

The Newark Reds basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Penn Yan Academy Mustangs to 35 in the Reds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Reds now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmyra-Macedon for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Friday, December 9. Newark will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 59-29 non-league win over Albion (Albion, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-0.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo (Waterloo, NY). The Indians enter the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 1-0 record.
