The Palmerton Blue Bombers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Northwestern Lehigh Tigers to 36 in the Blue Bombers league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pen Argyl for a Colonial - East contest on Friday, December 9. Palmerton will battle a Green Knights team coming off a 46-32 league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 0-3.

The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans come into the Colonial - West contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Lehigh dropped by Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 63-36, in a non-league contest.
