Oxford Academy Blackhawks (Oxford, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Unadilla Valley Storm (New Berlin, NY), 45-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Oxford Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blackhawks host Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a Section 4 Midstate bout on Monday, December 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Delaware Academy won 78-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY)

Next up, the Storm play the Morris Central Mustangs (Morris, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Unadilla Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 78-68 league win over Schenevus Central (Schenevus, NY).
