The Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) basketball crushed the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 67-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Storm (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A Conference 46 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Rockingham County was trounced by Morehead (Eden, NC), 81-67, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Williams for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 7. Providence Grove will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-31 non-league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
