In their next game, the Rockets face the South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 9. Routt Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Vipers come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL).

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Liberty, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Liberty was overwhelmed by Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL), 49-32, in a league battle.
