The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Sioux City West Wolverines to 40 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux City North for a Missouri River contest on Friday, December 9. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will battle a Stars team coming off a 67-55 league loss to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Stars record now stands at 0-3.

The Wolverines (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Black Raiders enter the Missouri River contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Sioux City East ran past Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA), 86-57, in a league contest.
