The Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles basketball team (Belden, MS), was overwhelmed 68-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Smithville Seminoles (Smithville, MS)
The Seminoles now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tremont for a 1A Region 2 battle on Saturday, December 10.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Union (Myrtle, MS). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 2 battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, West Union was overwhelmed by Pine Grove (Ripley, MS), 48-45, in a non-league battle.
