Vallejo Red Hawks (Vallejo, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Albany Cougars (Albany, CA), 44-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Vallejo upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Red Hawks host Hercules (Hercules, CA) to play the Titans in a Tri-County - Stone bout on Friday, December 9. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Hercules lost 52-15 in their recent non-league bout against Vintage (Napa, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Jayhawks go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 58-38 non-league win over St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA).
