Augusta Beavers (Augusta, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI), 45-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Augusta upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Beavers travel to Whitehall (Whitehall, WI) to clash with the Norse in a Dairyland - Large bout on Friday, December 9. The Norse go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
